I enjoyed my stay here! The staff was kind & informative. I was properly greeted and quickly checked in. The staff recommended some superb dinner recommendations. I ended up getting shrimp tacos & blackened salmon with Caesar salad. The breakfast feature was amazing, however the breakfast is not complimentary. The food is quite delicious and worth it. The hotel is convenient with access to onsite dining & a mini grocery pantry. The decor was well decorated & inviting. The rooms were adequate and allow for a comfortable rest. The only downside of the stay was a few noticeable stains on the linens & curtains; also the room could benefit from being deodorized. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend to others.
I wish I could give 100 stars to this amazing hotel. Our entire family stayed here when the power went out in Moore County in December 2022, and while unexpected, the entire staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, helpful, and so hospitable. When the power went out unexpectedly n our entire county, we drove to Raleigh/Cary for electricity, warm showers, and somewhere safe for the kids. When we got there, the entire staff did everything they could to make us feel welcome, safe, and at home. Pam in the restaurant is the kindest soul on the planet. She took great care of the kids, and the adults, and made us feel so welcome. TK, the GM, did everything he could to make sure we had a room - even though we didn't know how long we were going to stay - and did so with a smile. Elizabeth and Benny at the front desk always greeted us with a smile, even during our million questions, changes, and thoughts. While our stay was not what we necessarily expected - this hotel now has a very loyal customer in me!
We walked into this Double Tree after driving all day and well into the night on Thanksgiving. We walked into a clean and beautiful lobby space and were greeted by Stephen, the most professional and kind front desk personnel I’ve ever met (and there have been many over the years). We were terrible and even accidentally spilled food in front of the desk and he maintained that kind and professional attitude while telling us not to worry about it and to go get some rest. Many people would be bitter or sad about working on a holiday but Stephen just had such a pleasant and calm demeanor about him. What a fantastic first impression! The next morning we stopped in (late) for breakfast. Ms. Pam was incredibly professional, helpful, patient and friendly. She answered our many questions with a smile on her face. The staff speaks volumes about a business and of the staff we’ve met - you have the best! I will highly recommend your hotel to others. Thank you!
Definitely clean, which is my #1 concern these days in looking for hotels. My whole bed seemed to shake when my neighbor let their room door slam several times overnight. I also had a hard time getting my devices on the hotel WiFi until I went to the lobby. Overall a good stay, but you might consider these things when decided which hotel to stay at since there are so many in the area of similar price/quality.
Not great if I'm being honest. The bathroom door wasn't a real door, but a sliding barn door with no lock, and zero sound dampening properties. Was very odd. But the strangest thing by far is they have a mini fridge in room, but no microwave? I mean what the hell? I can't remember last time I had a hotel room without a microwave. The phone was broken in the room as well. The room service is basically a service where they drop a bag of food off at your door and it's pretty pricey. The room service came to our room but only emptied the trash, didn't refresh beds, didn't refresh towels or anything. The best part of the stay was the breakfast which wasn't free but the staff were super friendly and helpful.
